About

Armistice Day is a special day for Ypres. Every year, the poppy parade and the Last Post at 11am are part of a wider programme of events commemorating the end of the First World War.

The city of Ypres and the In Flanders Fields Museum also commemorate the civilian victims on this day: residents of Ypres or refugees who died in Ypres. The Lost Key initiative was launched three years ago.
